Academic excellence.

Clapton Girls' Academy Sixth Formers achieve highly and go on to a wide range of fantastic futures. Whether university, other further study, apprenticeships, or employment, they choose what is right for them, guided by the academy’s excellent Careers Education department and supported by their tutors and other staff members.

Many of our students gain places at Russell Group universities whilst others go on to some of the UK’s most prestigious institutions as well as into apprenticeships.

We have strong partnerships with Goldsmiths, University of London; the University of East London; SOAS and Queen Mary which have helped prepare our students for life as undergraduates.

Summer 2026

CGA’s Class of 2026 have plenty to celebrate following an outstanding set of A-level and BTEC results. Our Sixth Form is in the top 25% nationally for teaching which is reflected in the achievements and destinations of this year’s students.

More than half of our students will progress to prestigious Russell Group and other top 40 universities, including world-renowned institutions such as Oxford, Edinburgh, Glasgow School of Art, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, King’s College London, UCL and Queen Mary’s.

Our students will be studying an impressive range of subjects, with many pursuing STEM pathways including medicine, chemical engineering, mathematics, physics, midwifery, nursing, radiography and physiotherapy. Others are following their passions in art, architecture, media, design, geography, English, politics and history.

Our BTEC students have also achieved exceptional results which are a testament to their talent, determination and resilience, with vocational learners securing places at highly competitive universities including Bath, Brunel, King’s College London and City St George’s, alongside sought-after apprenticeships. We couldn’t be prouder of our students and the incredible futures that lie ahead of them.
